Metal bands used to make money because they used to make good music. Metal and metalcore in general are dying hard. There's no more Killswitch Engage bands. No more As I lay Dying, All That Remains, August Burns Red, Disturbed, Slipknot, etc etc. All these bands were mainstream and well known. New bands need to go back and look at what was successful. High pitched girly sounding vocals isn't gonna cut it for most people.

Imagine trying to be living now as a 16 year old kid and your parent's are like "we're leaaving Friday afternoon to go to great aunt so and so's funeral. We'll be back on Sunday. So lets party right?! but then... Ring doorbell, vigilante Karens, Wuss culture. Whatever kids make it through that onslaught, are the bro's that carry the future.

I really hated Hail at first, but that damn song grew on me to the point that I love it now. It just felt like watered down music, but it’s so catchy and I just embraced that they’re doing something a little different and it’s a fun song. That said I think Planets is a criminally forgotten song off that album!!!

NOFX has brought me happiness throughout my life. I grew up around the Bay Area and I am grateful for NOFX, and deeply saddened at their departure. How I stumbled on this band was because of MySpace and I was listening electric rock from France and Spain, they have the same style of electronic rock and was like …. This is an amazing band but I knew in back then when Emo was a thing, people didn’t like it but I loved it!! Because I love how different types of music style it incorporated.

I would love to achieve this level and type of success. He gets it and I get it but he is living it. Fat Mike has lived and is living a very cool life. And he would make an excellent standup comedian. Very cool.
